The free shuttle to town and to the airport was nice. They also had a free shuttle that picked us up from the train station. Building was very old, but was nice and clean and neat to stay in. Watching the float planes take off was a nice experience.

Location, location. location!! Incredible views of the seaplanes doing lake landings and take-offs! Very good restaurant and bar, stellar meals and very good morning breakfast buffet!! Large rooms, good beds, quiet. Resort's airport pick-up service very prompt. Will also go to local attractions when able (at n/c.). Alaska Aviation Museum within walking distance! I liked the views on the lake (especially the sunset, walked out there nightly) and how close it was to the airport. The shuttle service was needed and welcomed...remember to tip the drivers. The cleanliness of the hotel was also a plus. The on site restaurants are convenient but did not meet my needs.

The young lady who checked me in on the night of the 30th was awesome. She was very attentive to me and noticed I had quite a bit of luggage and I had a cane. She asked me if I would like a room on the first floor. When I said yes, she put me on the first floor and close to the exit. She was very nice and welcoming. I wish I had gotten her name. Having the ability to put my food in cold storage is definitely a plus. The shuttle bus to and from airport is great. I have stayed at Lakefront multiple times and it has always been an excellent experience.

The location of this hotel was great. We had a lot of time to kill and enjoyed sitting in the bar watching the water planes come and go. The room was nice and the lobby was comfortable and interesting. The shuttle to the airport was really convenient. The small restaurant served an excellent breakfast.

I was glad the hotel has a washer and dryer (on the third floor). The hotel is close to airport and has a 24 hr shuttle! The room was clean and the shower was great! I like that there are vending machines near elevator. Laundry soap available at check in. I love the cheery and knowledgeable reception desk lady (on my right) on the morning of 12/1/23.

The location is beautiful. The beds are very comfortable. It is a rustic hotel. Staff was helpful with shuttle to and from the airport. The food was ok. They ran out of crab and they are severely understaffed at the restaurant in the evenig/night.

The location is beautiful on Lake Hood and close to airport.. Room was nice and clean, very comfortable king size bed. Nice linens and room was large. All the hotel staff were great, helpful and friendly. The bartender made a great Old Fashion, and the halibut and chips were great.

Much better than last stay a week ago. Patio was open, clean, and staffed. Check in problems were resolved. Our Serbian waitress spoke beautiful English and was excellent at her job. She told us she's studying Hospitality Services as a career. It showed. Food was still excellent. Don't lose your chef and kitchen staff. The place looked a lot more taken care of this week. Maintenance people were visible and busy. Thanks. Three Stars.
